Call for Nominations AU-TWAS National Award for Young Scientists in South Africa (2014)

The AU-TWAS Young Scientist National Award recognises the scientific achievements of young researchers working and living in Africa. The award is sponsored by the African Union and TWAS, The World Academy of Sciences.

ASSAf, supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), will be coordinating the awarding of the 2014 AU-TWAS Prizes for Young Scientists in South Africa.

Members are encouraged to nominate one or more suitable young candidates by completing the attached nomination form. Please be advised that two winners will be selected, one in each of the following categories:  Life and Earth Sciences; and Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation.Read more
