Building leadership for Knowledge Society Development in Africa

March 2014

An 8 month part-time blended learning course, at post-graduate diploma level, designed for African mid-to-senior public sector managers and policy-makers.

Eligibility

Please apply for a place on the ALICT course if:

• You are a resident and citizen of one of the following countries: Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

• You are a degree holder.

• You work for a government ministry or state agency.

• You want to advance your career with a qualification in a state of the art leadership course designed to help you contribute to your country’s knowledge society development.

Application deadline: March 19th 2014

Course commences: May 2014

Course ends: December 2014

Course delivery: Part-time blended learning (majority online)

Certification

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Professional Development Certificate in African Leadership in ICT awarded by the African Union Commission, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and GESCI (Founded by the UN ICT Task Force).

Participants may also choose to register for the concurrent award of Graduate Diploma in Leadership Development in ICT and the Knowledge Society awarded by Dublin City University (Ireland), a leading European university.
