The Department of Science and Technology invited nominations for the 2013 South African Women in Science Awards (WISA)
The awards are aimed at profiling women scientists and researchers as role models for younger scientists and researchers; encourage and reward younger women who are starting their careers as emerging researchers and scientists.
The 2013 WISA will be presented on 16 August 2013, as part of the Department's celebration of National Women's Month. Read more.
