All media are invited to the launch of the hot isostatic press (HIP) facility on 11 December 2025, at which the Director-General of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Mlungisi Cele, will officiate.

Funded by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), the state-of-the-art facility is a significant step forward for local industry, providing cutting-edge capabilities for heat treatment and quenching processes.
