CSIR researchers to brief media on effects of cyberbullying in SA

Cybersecurity researchers from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will share some of their research on bullying that takes place through online communication platforms (cyberbullying) and its negative effects on society.

Members of the media are invited to a virtual media briefing scheduled to take place on Thursday, 29 April 2021. The briefing forms part of the organisation’s cybersecurity awareness programme, which aims to educate and sensitise members of the public about cyber-related crimes and highlight steps that people can take to ensure that they do not become victims of cyberbullying.
