Science, technology and innovation performance under the spotlight

The latest Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Indicators report will come under discussion in Cape Town when the report is presented to academics, business and government stakeholders there.

 

On 16 October, at the Human Sciences Research Council, economist and National Advisory Council on Innovation (NACI) council member, Dr Azar Jammine, will share the outcomes and implications of the report with stakeholders.

 

The latest STI report, recently released by NACI, has identified areas of progress, as well as gaps in key sectors of the economy, such as education, mining and manufacturing.

 

The workshop aims to provide current indicators and assess future needs through interaction with government, business, civil society organisations, higher education institutions and public research institutes.
