Take advantage of these exciting opportunities for plant genetics postgraduate students!

The Forest Molecular Genetics Programme at the University of Pretoria announces the availability of competitive postgraduate (BSc. Hons R35 000 p.a., MSc R120 000 p.a., PhD R150 000 p.a., and postdoctoral fellowship R265 000 p.a.) positions supported by the SA Forestry Industry and the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

To be considered for one of these exciting new opportunities, candidates are requested to submit a CV, academic transcripts, a 300-word paragraph on their background and interests and a 500-word essay on any problem, research idea or innovative research solution related to plant biology or plant biotechnology.

Candidates must have appropriate prior training in genetics, biotechnology or plant breeding. A number of positions will be reserved for black South African candidates.
