The Chinese Embassy is very keen to organize a Youth Month event involving the Minister and the Chinese Ambassador. The event, in June, will serve to announce the next cohort of young South African scientists participating in the South Africa China Young Scientist Exchange Programme and involve the participation of earlier participants. We strongly recommend this proposal, not only because of its relevance for youth month, but also to strengthen collaboration with China. The event can take place at the CSIR ICC and will only last 2 hours and can be organized on any date convenient for the Minister.
