As South Africa marks Women's Month, the Department of Science and Innovation is celebrating the achievements – from pioneering research to exciting innovations – of women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and innovation (STEMI).

Dr Mamoeletsi Mosia, Managing Director of the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement

Mosia is committed to making science more accessible.  She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Technical University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands and a Master's of Commerce in Leadership Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
