Background

The WSF is an international conference series on global science policy, organised biannually in Budapest, Hungary or any country of the world wishing to be the host nation in alternate years. It brings together leading scientists, researchers, the private sector, civil society and global media to discuss the challenges facing science in the 21^st century. Since its inception in 2013, it has been organised in Hungary, Brazil, and Jordan and South Africa will be the first country in the African continent to host the WSF in 2022.
