Background

The National Space Conference (NSC) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Tshwane, South Africa from 30 August -01 September 2023.The event is organised by the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA), an initiative and entity of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), in collaboration with key national partners such as the South African  Air force (SAAF).The theme for the conference is “space for Inclusive growth”. The NSC aims to advance knowledge and information about space and Earth observation applications, operations, products, services, as well as how to use them for better decision-making and the advancement of society, economy, and the protection of the environment.
