Background

The Ministerial visit to the Science Centre in Cofimvaba as part of the Presidential Imbizo Build up activities. The visit by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation to the Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu Science Centre will be on 11 August 2023 from 09H00 to 10H00, (the Presidential Imbizo to take place on the same day at about 11H00). The Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu Science Centre (AN Sisulu Science Centre) was launched in 2021 by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, supported by the Premier of the Eastern Cape and the local government. The initiative was led by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) and the Eastern Cape Department of Education (ECDOE) which shared 70% and 30% of construction costs, respectively
